Get Out There!

We offer a unique opportunity at the Port Angeles Yacht Club called our Member Checkout Program where qualified skippers can checkout our lesson boat for some fun on the water.   Please review the details below and if interested contact us at [email protected].

PAYC Member Sailboat Charter Process
  1. Active Club Members go through checkout process
  2. Members must complete the WA Boater Education Program and provide a copy for our records.
  3. Members pay their Annual Use Fee
  4. Members submit reservation using Google Form
  5. Fleet staff reviews reservation ensuring they are on the 'approved' list, checks the calendar availability (this would use the clubs existing calendar tool and shared calendar for all activities)
  6. Fleet staff adds reservation to the club calendar
  7. Fleet staff confirms reservation by emailing the requester
  8. Member completes Pre Checkout form and Post Checkout form and leaves on the boat.
  9. Fleet staff reviews checkout forms after the charter and communicates out any required fixes to the bridge on a monthly basis.

Checkout Process:
