We have a wonderful, robust selection of nautical reading options available to members.
1. Anytime the Club is open for dinners, happy hours, events, Burger & Brews, etc., the library shelves are unlocked. If you arrive and they are still locked, please ask a bartender, Bridge member, or one of the librarians to unlock it for you! (Librarians are Carla Bamer, Dave Castor, and Bill Spring).
2. Carla is always happy to meet you at the Clubhouse to help you check out a book. Text or call her at 360-808-4288.
3. The entire inventory of the PAYC Library may be perused online at https://www.librarycat.org/lib/PAYC You can search by author, title or category, read descriptions, and see if a book is on the shelves or checked out to another member. This online access makes it easy to find the book quickly once you are at the Club.
Don't neglect to look at the awesome collection of cruising guides on our shelves. You will find up to date information on boating in many Salish Sea and Puget Sound areas, including the San Juan and Gulf Islands, Vancouver Island and Coastal British Columbia, and the Inside Passage to the Far North, as well as many other locales closer to home. Please limit your time with these useful books to one week, so everyone has a chance to use these resources for trip planning.
