Do you want to know how to fix the scratches, dents or holes in your cherished vessel?
If so, America’s Boating Club and Port Angeles Yacht Club are presenting a clinic on repairing and refinishing damage to your composite materials. These clinics will be held in two sessions, Saturday, February 4th and Saturday, March 4th 10:00 am at the Port Angeles Yacht Club and promises to be informative and entertaining. Each session has an in-depth presentation that will cover different aspects of fiberglass repair. Since you get to get your hands dirty mixing up epoxy and making it work, there's a $10 charge to cover the cost of materials for both sessions. A good time was had by all at last Friday's Bridge Meeting and dinner. Members and guests were treated to a delicious curry dinner with homemade deserts provided by Shirley Grayce. The theme of the evening was "Volunteer Appreciation." And boy did we feel appreciated. Volunteers were honored with a round of applause with special ovation for past commodores. Shown Below: Current Commodore Paul Kolisnikoff bows with gratitude towards Past Commodores, Frank Benson, Rick Johns, Paul Forrest, Dave Miller, Bob Morrison, Erika Hansen-Dahlin and Randy Volker. But the pièce de résistance was a lovely song and dance honoring yacht club volunteers. |
